We believe all scripture is the authoritative Word of God and the foundation of Christianity.
We believe, according to scripture, in one God, eternally existent in three persons; the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit and that God desires a personal relationship with every person.
We believe, according to scripture, that Jesus is the eternal Son of God, begotten of the Father, conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. He being fully God and fully man, willingly gave Himself as the ultimate sacrifice for our sins. He was crucified, buried, and raised from the dead. Ascended into Heaven as our High Priest and Advocate. He understands the feelings of our weaknesses and lives forever to make intercession for us.
"For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who was tempted in every way that we are, yet was without sin. Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need." - Hebrews 4:15-16
"He is also able to save to the uttermost those who come to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them. For such a High Priest was fitting for us, who is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and has become higher than the heavens; who does not need daily, as those high priests, to offer up sacrifices, first for His own sins and then for the people’s, for this He did once for all when He offered up Himself." - Hebrews 7:25-2
We believe, according to scripture, mankind was created in the image of God, but fell to sin, incurring physical and spiritual death and separation from God.
Jesus, willingly gave Himself to take the punishment for our sin, in our place,
so that we can be cleansed from sin and receive salvation. Through His precious gift, we can have a new beginning and relationship with Him!
"He gave His life to free us from every kind of sin, to cleanse us, and to make us His very own people." - Titus 2:14
"I acknowledged my sin to You and did not hide my iniquity. I said, "I will confess my transgressions to the LORD," and You forgave the guilt of my sin." - Psalm 32:5
"If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." - 1 John 1:9
"Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow."
- Isaiah 1:18
We believe, according to scripture, sanctification is an active and ongoing work of the Holy Spirit. He is manifested and evident through the power, gifts and fruit of the Spirit. He is the Spirit of truth, the Spirit of wisdom and understanding, the Spirit of counsel and might, the Spirit of knowledge. He is our helper, guide, teacher, comforter, counselor, and intercessor. He is the searcher of hearts and helps us in our weakness.
"I will ask the Father, and He will send you another Comforter, so that He may be with you forever." - John 14:16
